Lancaster ISD operates within the constraints of a finite amount of resources on an annual basis. As such, we must prioritize the funding of our programs and initiatives based upon their impact on student outcomes and financial sustainability.
Our intent is to obtain input from our stakeholders to gain sufficient insight into our community’s perspectives around these key resource allocation decisions.

Lancaster, TX/Lancaster ISD – On January 28 at 6:30pm, in recognition of National Mentoring Month, the Lancaster Independent School District and Lancaster ISD Police Department will partner with the City of Lancaster to host ENGAGE: A Mentoring Youth Conference. The single-evening event will be held at the Lancaster Recreation Center located at 1700 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Lancaster, Texas and is a part of the District’s Student Leadership Development Series launched in 2015.
We have recently had students diagnosed with Conjunctivitis, commonly referred to as “Pink Eye.” Therefore, we felt it necessary to share the following information with our community of parents.
The Lancaster Independent School District would like to inform all district stakeholders that although there were recent changes to the Texas Concealed Handgun Law (known as the Texas Open Carry Code) that went into effect January 1, 2016, Lancaster ISD schools and facilities will continue to be gun-free zones.
The Lancaster Tigers and Lady Tigers will take on the Mansfield Timberview Wolves tonight at 6:30 PM for the girls’ game and at 8 PM for the boys’ game.
